For just 298 yen you could be enjoying some watermelon Kit-Kat candy right now! When I think of candy in Japan I think of Kit Kat because it’s popular here and comes in a variety of flavors. Skittles needs to launch a world wide campaign! Everybody should know that Skittles it the #1 candy, great for all occasions, and they should be sitting here hanging out with the Kit Kats!
A few years back I heard that they were going to stop producing Kit-Kat. I ate it more since then. We have only two flavours, normal and white chocolate. There’s also Kit-Kat chunky, but it’s just not the same.
I’ve checked wikipedia, and I think this is the most variety i’ve seen in a product, I guess that makes it the most popular chocolate in the world?

Skittles? Don’t they stick to your teeth and pull your fillings out? I’m a Smarties man myself, but as you know, the choice here is Snickers, Aero or Kit-Kat. I wish Japan would import some other chocolates instead of reinventing the three they have with flavors like watermelon.

Nick - I don’t think Skittles stick that much. Juju bees are pretty bad though. I still have about 1 pound of Skittles left from a care package some friends sent.

I tried that watermelon kit kat, I didn’t think it was very good.
There was a mixed berry one recently, though, that one was fantastic!
I’m eating watermelon kit kat right now. (I live in Japan.) It tastes like fresh chocolate kind of. It’s fruity. Chocolate with a hint of watermelon. I love it.
I’ve also tried green tea kit kat, caramel kit kat, blueberry white chocolate, and sunflower seeds chocolate.
tsm - I think berry and chocolate could taste good because I think chocolate and raspberries together have a good flavor.
Bek - It would be great if the stores would offer a free sample every once in a while. I’m curious about how it tastes but don’t want to spend the money on it.
Well, the watermelon kit kats have a salty aftertaste, which made me stop eating them. Since that comment I’ve also tried Caramel Macchiato McFlurry (came out last month) and strawberry kit kats. I love the former, but it’s kind of expensive for the small amount you get. And the strawberry is a sweet treat.
I think strawberry kit kats would be good. And a Caramel Macchiato McFlurry? I will have o give it a try. I recently had a McRib.

Muscat Green Grape kit kats… pretty interesting. Tasted like some form of Kool-Aid to me.
