I lost about 10 pounds when I first moved here because I walk everywhere! @Ed: In the city I live in right now I haven't seen a drive thru, but they were in the smaller cities I've been in. And they were all pretty small with a small parking lot. Most of the cars here are small so it seemed to work pretty well. When we went through the drive through the person sounded very polite too which was quite a different experience. @Kali: Maybe it’s because people walk a lot more, I’m not sure. When drive thrus were introduced people would get their food at the drive through, then park, then do inside and eat their food. They just couldn't understand that you take your food and go.
