I thought this was funny name for a convenience store. It makes me picture a really large area with green grass instead of this really tiny shop.
Update: Jyankee is right, it’s a shoe store! And I happened to find a small sized location.

Oh is it a convenience store? I thought it was a shoe store! LOL
Jyankee: I’ve always thought that too.
Sunkus is a funny name for a convenience store also. And Lawson is a n odd name for a store in Japan. What is really odd is that 7/11 changed their signs to 7 and i Holdings. How weird.
Jyankee and Yoshihiro – Yeah I thought the same thing until I got closer.
Tornadoes28 – Lawson reminds me of the ‘Old West’ in America. Sunkus is hard for me to say because it sounds like Sunkiss, the soda beverage in the U.S.
re: the fish thing. Are you able to give me some advice.
If I go to japan… and I don’t like (well…absolutely detest) fish… will it be a big issue?

@lisa: You can live or visit Japan without ever eating fish. It’s not too difficult. There’s a lot of restaurants and grocery stores with pork and beef.
