Final Bargain!
Posted by Steve in Life in Japan
I thought this sign was funny. Because
- It was in front of a chain restaurant entrance trying to get me to enter
- It sounds like I was bartering with them for a while
- 5% is a discount, not a bargain, and no where close to a final bargain

Now here’s what a Final Bargain should look like, up to 70% off, hellz yeah!

When you’re here long enough..you start to forget what a discount is and what a bargain is…. HA HA!!!!
Haha! Yeah, they’ve seen to replace the discounts with ‘point cards’
We should start a company helping companies and the government make signs that make sense. We could make a killing!
David – Sounds good, sign me up!
Nice post – especially with world economies where they are – 5% is nothing compared to what shops have been discounting to attract custom
