I tend to keep personal aspects of my life… well… personal, but this is a very exciting time in my life so I wanted to share. We’re both really excited and still have a few things to take care of.
I can’t believe it’s in 26 days! In about 20 days some guests from America will arrive so that gives us a little less than three weeks to finish everything up. I know we can handle it and I’ll be memorizing itinerary to help everything go smoothly, but I still need to finalize my vows, I need to write a speech for the reception as well as a few other things I want to say, and memorize some lyrics of a Japanese song for one of our duets (luckily I have the easy part!). We’ve added some events to our wedding, removed some, added some new things.
Mai’s good friend in Tokyo is a designer and has been working on a unique wedding dress since September. I haven’t seen it of course but I hear it looks amazing so far.
How do other foreigners have their wedding in Japan? I’m not quite sure. So far I’ve seen the traditional Japanese wedding with full kimono and I’ve seen the ‘western style’ type of wedding at a chapel or restaurant with a reception dinner following. We’ll be having a western style with a touch of Steve and Mai and our closest friends and relatives will be attending. I’ll probably post some pictures next month.
You may remember back in 2007 that Lulu was dressed up for halloween, well this morning was cold so I decided to dress her up. She was loving her bee outfit and it was cute and funny at the same time because she was running around and playing It’s amazing how big she’s gotten and how her outfit fits her now.

Have you ever craved something so bad you almost couldn’t stand it? I’m sure everybody has at one point or another. Chocolate, steak and potatoes, ice cream ramen… and recently we (as in me) have been craving some Skittles. Our friend Yumi pulled through with flying colors by sending not only a ton of Skittles but some Starbursts, Butterfingers, Reese’s, Easy Mac, Advil, Clariton, and some black scrunchi things. Friends are awesome.

My sweet baby needed a watch because of a misplaced older one. At first she bought an inexpensive watch that looked nice but I knew wouldn’t last. So we searched around for a few weeks at different watch shops and finally at The Loft we saw a sweet looking Casio Baby G with a unique face. They said they had only one in stock so I got it on the spot and haven’t seen the same one since. It’s pretty cool and I think it looks classy, modern, legit, and feminine all at the same time. So far it’s great, and it does what it needs to do. Here are some pictures.

It’s getting cold so it’s sweater time for Lulu. Here she is modeling her new threads. She’s a ball of energy so I was lucky to snap these photos.

Halloween is just around the corner! Lulu is ready to go door to door asking for some dog treats.
